ARE YOU IN COVENANT WITH GOD

Rhetorically, “are you in covenant with God, is a logical question unto Christ ambassadors (i.e Christians). To remind us whether we are still in the kingdom of God or not? 

On this inspiring blog, named “Empowered to flourish”. Our articles are in line with Almighty God’s will, through His beloved servant Pastor Akinyemi S. Olatokunbo to pioneer Mobile Gospel Ministry.

As a Christologian (i.e follower of Christ) the right answer to this question is capital letter “YES”, thereafter Judaism.

For we are the people that, creator of heaven and the earth, expected to keep His covenant and remember to do them thereafter Judaism (Old Testament)

• You may ask me when? 

My reply will be under the New Testament. In accordance with the book of Hebrews 9: 15,  

" Christ is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death for redemption of transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. [Hebrews 9: 15]

He also cleans our conscience from dead works to serve the living God” 

• How to enter into this covenant?

This is through our:

           -Belief in the redemptive package from God, through our Lord Jesus Christ that could guarantee our entitlement to receive or inherit eternal promise.C

           - Confession of faith 

           - Sin are forgiven, under dispensation of grace 

‘For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgement of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him

[John 3: 16-17]

 

Therefore, we should eagerly, be waiting for second advent of Christ, for our salvation 

In inclusion, if you are in covenant with God. As Christ ambassador, you are expected to be the hearer and doer of God’s will. For whoever believes in Jesus, as their personal Savior and Lord are not judged or condemned. Except those who don't believe or trust in the Name of One and the only begotten Son of God.
